A Message From Thad Davis
I was born and raised in Brazoria County, Texas. When I opened my law practice here in 2004, I was continuing a family tradition. My grandfather practiced law here for many years, and I share an office in Lake Jackson with uncle, attorney Mark Davis. You could say that I was born to be a Brazoria County lawyer.
I chose to practice law to help people negotiate the sometimes complicated legal system. As a lawyer, I can help people at critical times in their lives: whether they are starting a business, buying or selling real estate, going through a divorce, or facing criminal charges.
The Practice of Law is About the Client, not the Lawyer
Some attorneys let their egos get in the way of a case and it can be hard for their clients to obtain the best results. For me, a legal case is not about the lawyer. It's about the client. My goal is to represent your best interests. I can do that better by having good working relationships with other attorneys and the judges who will hear your case as well as having the knowledge necessary to guide you through your legal issue.
I have a laid-back personality, but when it comes time to dig in my heels I am ready and willing to do so. I pride myself on being just as comfortable in the courtroom as the boardroom.
Keeping You Informed of the Status of Your Case
I have had clients tell me they would hire me again because I obtained good results and really listened to what they had to say. They felt that they received personal attention.
I believe that good communication between lawyer and client is one of the most important factors in a legal case. Many lawyers are too busy to talk with their clients. I am busy too, but I always take time to keep my clients informed of the status of their case and what I am doing for them.
As a lawyer, I take pride in the fact that I represent individuals and small businesses. I am also proud to practice law in Brazoria County where my family have been attorneys and counselors for more than 50 years. I treat all my clients and their legal issues with the openness of a small town firm and the professionalism they deserve.
